Cute cozy setting, staff was incredibly friendly. Drinks were good. My only bit of criticism would be the amount of time it took to get our food which was close to an hour and no update on our order, but I have to be completely honest, it was worth the weight as the food was really delicious. I was pleasantly surprised being that it was my first visit. I also appreciate it the portions of food which weren't greatly exaggerated as of the places where they give you Flintstones sized steaks. Again, I enjoyed my experience there and would go again, but they really need to work on the timing of the food. other than that, I would definitely recommend this place.

It's been awhile since I ate in a restaurant with live music. Mari, the songstress at Matiz made our late lunch there a special and memorable outing. We greatly enjoyed her song choices in English and Spanish as well as her lovely voice. For Appetizers, we ordered chicken quesadilla and ripe plantains which were yummy. I was super hungry and ate the hot plantains too quickly and burned the roof of my mouth. My bad. I had the avocado green salad with shrimp and mango and pineapple which was huge, healthy and tasty. My dining companion ordered the steak and also enjoyed it. We took home the Lomo Saltado for the family. Service was friendly and efficient. Seems like the kind of restaurant with loyal followers and for good reason.

I visited this location for the first time yesterday and I was shocked, with how delicious and diverse all of the Spanish food was on that menu. The ambience was so lovely. There was good music and a ton of declarations on the wall. It's at such a good side for my little cousin graduation celebration. I am of Latin defense. I do have certain expectations for Spanish food and it was definitely met. I would come again.! Our servers were attentive and always came to check in and I decided to choose the Bistec with onions and it was the best decision I made that day LOL
